Fabric Friday

I couldn't decide on just one so I thought I would show the whole selection of new Amy Butler fabrics that are coming out very soon (mid-May is what I heard). All the patterns come in other color schemes but I happen to be liking these two very much. The one on the left is from the "Forest" collection and the one on the right is the "Belle" collection. I have been an Amy Butler fan for a while so I am just loving these new designs.

I love that you do this. You show the coolest stuff. I just spent part of the day with my mother-in-law, a super crafty gal. On our way to find tiny buttons at the button emporium, we stumbled into fabric in the city. Wow - such great fabrics, makes me wish I was a better sewer. Or that I'd gotten around to finding out whether my thrift store sewing machine can be fixed.

I have a sewing machine, but I don't really do anything with that. I really would, if I could!!! These little kids around me...I don't know how people do. I tried a baby sitter last week and she sucks. I did not want her here anymore, because it's so easy to get 20 bucks and just seat on the couch and watch cartoon with them..how about going out to the park or playing with them? Excuses and excuses...I am going to try another lady but she comes to clean twice a week.
Fabrics from this company are cool. I am thinking in cover a piece of canvas to decorate my craft room with fabric. I personally like very much fabrics from both collections. I don't really like those indians patterns.
About your layout...can we talk about this by email?

Wow! gotta show these to my girlfriend, she loves to sew.
We just got back from a roadtrip from Southern Oregon with the kids. All I can say is: it gets a tiny bit better when they are older! Backpack full of stickerbooks & colorbooks, portable DVD player & plenty of snacks! When we did make the car trip to Portland, it was looooong! I feel for ya baby!

I'm drooling over those fabric designs! I feel like redesigning my home using those as inspirations - I wish!

Yummy fabrics!! Now if only I could sew. Maybe I'll just buy yards and wrap them around my naked flubber.
